A new world is emerging, and space is helping to build it!
We are participating in the 2021 edition of « Le Monde Nouveau » forum. The objective? Explain how space contributes to a better understanding of our planet, in order to make it more and better habitable in a sustainable way.
Renewable energies, territories, health, forests, biodiversity, water, agriculture, food, short circuits, seas and oceans... many subjects will be studied, through multiple formats: big debates, conferences, inspiring meetings, testimonies, workshops, jobs of tomorrow, Creathon (support to entrepreneurial and societal projects). More than 60 leading speakers will contribute to the richness of this event.
Our presence
With the aim of opening up space to many sectors of activity, and contributing to enriching the sectors that will make tomorrow's world possible, Connect by CNES is involved at three levels:
- Frédéric Bretar will speak on behalf of the SCO (Space Climate Observatory) during the Great Debate "Environmental commitments and stakeholder engagement: how to meet the climate and energy challenge".
- We will provide our companies with a 20 m2 stand. MEOSS, TerraNIS, Vortex.io... will be our ambassadors in this exhibition space, to show concretely the capacities of space to serve a new future.
- And because it's never too early to get involved, workshops on biodiversity for the youngest (but not only!) will be organized by the youth education team of the CNES Communication Department.
