AIS 2020 French winners

The French final of the ActInSpace space hackathon took place on Tuesday 02/02 in virtual format. The teams were impressive with motivation, ideas and dynamism.

Motivated by the desire to create their start-up while offering solutions for the planet, citizens or employment, participants of all ages, backgrounds and profiles and from all countries embarked on the ActInSpace adventure by November 2020.

For 24 hours continuously, they have developed their project based on challenges proposed by CNES, ESA and their partners.

The best team from each participating French city was invited to the French final.

All day long, juries, participants, organizers, all enjoyed the presentations of these innovative and inspiring projects!

And the winners are...

1st prize : The Full Metal Energy team, from Cannes, which developed a project consisting in creating the energy necessary for the establishment of the 1st lunar base from the AIRBUS03 challenge.

They won the ActInSpace France 2020 competition as well as the France grand prize offered by CNES and AirFrance: a trip to Guyana to attend the launch of an Ariane 5 or Vega rocket.

Congratulations to them and have a good trip!

2nd prize: The Climbspace team, from Paris, with its project for a new method of counting keystone species aimed at studying and protecting endangered animals.

These 2 teams will participate in the international final of ActInSpace on February 04 and 05, 2021 and will represent France against teams from all over the world!
